This Remington manufactured first variation outer magazine tube is for the earliest (series 1932) model 34 bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition exhibiting a mixture of thinning original blue finish with a brown patina and having wear and scattered specks of older rust. The first variation outer magazine tube has the oval shaped loading port but more importantly the threads required on earlier model 34 rifle receivers.  (file photo)
